Welcome to the Flow Pilates Help Center. Find answers to the most common questions below. If you can't find what you're looking for, we're always happy to help — reach us at studio@flowpilates.fit or (919) 240-4229.
We love welcoming first-timers. We recommend beginning with our Intro 3-Pack, which gives you three Open Level classes at an accessible rate to find your footing on the reformer.
Our Open Level classes are designed for all experience levels — your instructor will guide you through each movement and offer modifications based on your ability. No experience is necessary.
Yes. You'll need a free account through our booking platform (OfferingTree) to book classes, purchase packages, and manage your schedule. You can create one at flowpilates.fit or through the OfferingTree app.
All of our group classes are listed as "Open Level" — and that's intentional. Our instructors don't teach to the middle of the room; they teach to each person in it. Whether it's your first class or your hundredth, your instructor will adjust spring resistance, range of motion, and modifications in real time for you specifically.
You never need to worry about holding the class back. Everyone is moving at their own best.
We cap every class at 8 students — the maximum our studio's 8 Merrithew V2 Max reformers can accommodate. This limit is intentional: it ensures your instructor can give meaningful, individual attention in every session.
Pilates can be a wonderful support during pregnancy. If you have a consistent reformer practice, you are generally welcome to continue with instructor modifications — please inform your instructor before class begins.
If you are new to Pilates or in your third trimester, please contact us first at studio@flowpilates.fit to discuss your options. Always consult your healthcare provider before beginning or continuing exercise during pregnancy.
Early Cancel: Cancel 24+ hours before class — no penalty. Your credit is returned.
Late Cancel: Cancel within 24 hours — a $15.00 late fee is charged.
No-Show: Miss class without cancelling — a $20.00 fee is charged.
To cancel, log into your account on the site or app and cancel from your upcoming classes view.
Fitted, form-fitting athletic clothes that allow full movement — leggings and a fitted tank or tee work well. Avoid clothing with zippers, large buttons, or bulky seams along the back, which can scratch the reformer's padded carriage.
Yes. Grip socks are required for all classes — they are a safety requirement (reformer surfaces can be slippery) and a hygiene standard. If you don't own a pair, we sell them at the studio. Please do not arrive barefoot or in regular socks.
